ProjectSlate is simple to use, if you have lots of shots in a production environment or you a contractor you probably want something like this. It will allow for you to place "Stamped" frames on every frame render, also will allow for a "Slate Frame" before your footage starts.

Micro Move -- Designed for moving objects very slowly using a MIN and MAX value on the Translate and Rotate X,Y,Z. Some good code bits for those starting out in MEL and even for the experts. Works well for match moves.

AE camera Filmback New

Would be used as a tool that a match mover would need to complete match moves with still or moving background plates. Mostly this is a supplement for users that want to do match moves on Digital Camera's or DV-CAM's. Also a good learning tool on how to override an AE Template written by Alias.
